The Colombian & Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Philadelphia, established to represent, strengthen, and promote the growth of Colombian business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals while fostering collaboration and integration across the broader Latino business community throughout Pennsylvania, South Jersey, and Delaware.

Our Story
The Colombian & Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania was founded on the belief that strong communities are built by empowering the people who create businesses, generate jobs, and work every day to build a brighter future.
The Chamber was inspired by the vision and leadership of Gloria Castro, a native of Turbo, Antioquia, Colombia, who completed her professional education in Medellín. More than twenty years ago, she arrived in Philadelphia with her family carrying little more than a suitcase full of dreams and the determination to build a better future.
From her earliest years in the city, Gloria became actively involved in community service. By listening to families, supporting local initiatives, and working alongside community organizations, she gained firsthand insight into the challenges faced by many Latino entrepreneurs and business owners. Over time, those experiences shaped a clear vision: to create an organization that connects businesses with meaningful opportunities for growth.
For more than a decade, that vision continued to evolve through collaboration with community leaders, business owners, institutions, and strategic partners. The need for an organization that would represent the Colombian business community while serving the broader Latino community became increasingly evident.
In 2025, that vision became a reality with the official incorporation of the Colombian & Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania as a nonprofit organization. Since then, the Chamber has remained committed to strengthening the regional business ecosystem through education, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and access to valuable resources.

Our Story
La Cámara de Comercio Colombiana y Latina de Pennsylvania nació del convencimiento de que el crecimiento de una comunidad comienza fortaleciendo a quienes crean empresa, generan empleo y trabajan diariamente para construir un mejor futuro.
La creación de la Cámara estuvo inspirada por la visión y el liderazgo de Gloria Castro, nacida en Turbo, Antioquia, y formada profesionalmente en Medellín, Colombia. Hace más de veinte años llegó a Filadelfia junto a su familia con una maleta llena de sueños y el deseo de construir una nueva vida.

Durante más de una década esa idea fue tomando forma mediante reuniones con líderes comunitarios, empresarios, instituciones y aliados estratégicos. La necesidad de una entidad que represente a la comunidad empresarial colombiana y, al mismo tiempo, sirviera a toda la comunidad latina, se hizo cada vez más evidente.
